Refund policy

Returns and Exchanges:
Returns on purchased products must be initiated within 30 days from the date of purchase. Items should be in unused, new condition, and in the original packaging. Items removed from the original packaging are not eligible for returns. The return must be accompanied by the original sales invoice.
The purchaser is responsible for all shipping fees associated with the return, as well as a minimum 5% administration fee, which will be deducted from the reimbursement amount.
The following items are not eligible for returns:
Any customized or special order items (e.g., Pods, Indy Coating, Paint, G.O.A.T Bumpers)
Installed items
All Pods Sales are final, as they are made-to-order items.

Order Cancellations:
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours. After this period, orders are no longer eligible for refund, exchange, or cancellation.
All Pods Sales are final; Backland will not provide refunds on canceled Pods orders.
All other items will incur a 5% processing fee for cancellations.

Damage Claims:
BACKLAND Expedition Gear Ltd does not initiate any claims with carriers. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect items upon arrival and initiate a claim with the driver. If the claim is not started at delivery, BACKLAND Expedition Gear Ltd cannot provide compensation.

Warranty:
In the event of a manufacturer defect in your products, we will send you a replacement at no cost. The claim must be made within 6 months of the purchase date. Defective parts must be returned for inspection and evaluation. If the item is found to be defective, we will send you a replacement at no cost. Shipping costs and duties are not covered by our warranty.

Limited Warranty:
We guarantee our products (materials & workmanship) when used within intended purposes and conditions as directed by us. Damage to products installed by third-party services after the purchase is not covered. BACKLAND Expedition Gear Ltd is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or fines directly or indirectly caused by our parts and accessories. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that purchased items from Backland Gear are acceptable and within legal use in their local area.
To initiate a return, contact us at info@backlandgear.com, and we will evaluate your eligibility for a refund. Items sent back without prior return authorization will not be accepted or refunded.

Discounts / Sale Items:
BACKLAND Expedition Gear Ltd reserves the right to cancel or void any discounted/sale items sold.
