Key Advantages
  • Safety and Protection: Its thick non-slip INDY Protective Coating ensures your Sprinter stays shielded.
  • Enhanced Usability: Moreover, many users report increased use of the back door and find making the bed becomes more effortless with this step.
  • Thoughtful Design: The rounded outer edge minimizes shin injuries.
  • Preserved Ground Clearance: Especially for Overlanders, this bumper step keeps ground clearance and departure angle unaffected.
  • Easy Installation: While it connects seamlessly to the Mercedes 2019 and current newer factory hitch, drilling four 1/2” holes is required for 07-18 vans. Don't worry; we provide the measurements.
  • Sensor Compatibility: It aligns perfectly with rear parking sensors, ensuring safety on every terrain.
  • Robust Mounting: The 3/8” thick steel brackets include anchor points for 3/4” D-ring shackles - ideal for recovery pull points (shackles not included). Additionally, the design aids in visual checks during shackle installations.
  • Clear Visibility: Through the laser-cut Backland E.G logo, hitching or placing a heavy bike rack becomes a breeze.
  • Hitch Compatibility: This APEX Rear Step will work perfectly with your Mercedes Factory hitch (2019 to current) or a CURT Class 3 Hitch 13388 (drilling four 1/2” holes is required on both the Mercedes 2007-2018 and the CURT 13388). Feel free to contact us if you have any question on compatibility. Please Note: The space in between the mounting brackets is 33"1/2 (some 3500 vans have a narrower hitch). See pictures for more details.

So, whether you're an avid off-roader or just looking for that extra step of convenience and protection, our Sprinter rear bumper step is your perfect companion.
